Taste Of Chaos Tour Compilation (2/5)

When the Taste of Chaos tour was first announced, people eagerly purchased their tickets in anticipation of its greatness. This tour, which was created by Kevin Lyman (Warped Tour founder), was meant to be a medium sized show with a harder edge than that of the Vans Warped Tour.

The Taste Of Chaos CD, which features live tracks from some of the artists who performed on this tour’s first year, has about an hour’s worth of songs. The compilation of music was decent, as well as the song choices, but overall, there was nothing about this CD that particularly stood out to me.

The tracks weren’t bad, they just weren’t particularly good, and when I purchase a CD, I don’t like knowing I wasted my money on something that was just “okay”. There is nothing about this album that is exciting enough to make me want to listen to it on a regular basis, and I would much rather listen to the album versions of these songs than the fumbly live ones that appear on this CD.

Oddly enough, my favorite track on the whole CD was that of Senses Fail’s “Bite To Break Skin”. If you have seen Senses Fail live, then you probably know why this is ironic.

The Taste Of Chaos Tour was good, but if you miss it, I really wouldn’t advise buying this CD to remember it by.

Favorite Song - Senses Fail's 'Bite To Break Skin'
